Powers Three Swallow Irish Whiskey 0.7l, 40% ABV

In 1966, John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son, and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated the Old Midleton Distillery) merged to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and consolidate all production in a new, state-of-the-art facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975, production at the Old Jameson Distillery ceased and began at the new one. The old distillery has since been converted into a visitor center.

Powers Three Swallow (3 Swallows) matured for an undefined period in former bourbon and sherry casks.
Bottled at 40% vol. alcohol, non-chill filtered.

Aroma: Barley, herbs, marzipan, grapefruit, banana

Taste: Apples, citrus notes, dominant barley, cedarwood, spicy sweetness
